Writing “EPIC” letters to Congress
Event Date: Sunday, September 8 | 11:15am | Heritage Room
Learn to write a powerful letter to Congress with RESULTS, an advocacy organization dedicated to empowering people to connect with government to end poverty. Join RESULTS advocate and PUCC member Cindy Levin to learn the easy “EPIC” letter-writing format, which can be the foundation to all kinds of advocacy actions to get the attention of members of Congress. We’ll use the issues of U.S. housing and global HIV/AIDS as examples, but you can take the skills you learn to write about any issue you’re passionate about, This is a great opportunity for TED (Tuesday Evening Dialogue) members who read “Evicted” to turn knowledge into action!
