PUCC eNews 6/5/19: Pentecost

It’s PENTECOST – 50 days after Easter when the gift of the Holy Spirit comes as Jesus promised. The Spirit is a wind, fire, mystery, memory, connection, advocate, wisdom and so much more. Join us for worship this Sunday morning at 10am! Our scripture passage is the story of Pentecost when people from all kinds of cultures, languages and traditions come together and are suddenly, through the incredible gifts of the Spirit, able to understand one another…John 14:15-17, 25-27 and Acts 2:1-18a. Our sermon is entitled Spirit Outside and Spirit Inside. Come catch – and be caught by – the Spirit! As always, we hope you will invite others to come with you!
