Reproductive Healthcare discussion 7PM 2/24
Women, their families, and their physicians often confront complex conditions and make difficult decisions about reproductive healthcare. But stigma, fear of judgment, and even legal restrictions mean these decisions are rarely talked about openly. When people feel they must stay silent, the result can be a sense of isolation and feelings of trauma, and shame. This small group discussion for men & women will facilitate sharing experiences of reproductive healthcare. By sharing our views and experience, we reduce stigma, develop awareness, and build solidarity. Reserve early, space is limited to 8 people per session. By respectfully listening to and sharing experiences about reproductive healthcare in a supportive environment you can learn how to support the rights of women, their families and physicians to make reproductive healthcare decisions. Facilitator: Ruth A Huebner, PhD in Psychology, former Child Welfare Research Consultant for the US
