FAMILY WELFARE & REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE 3/21
Pregnancy holds a deeply valued place in our culture. We surround it with expectations of joy, yet many people have limited knowledge about what pregnancy actually involves. Some feel conflicted about pregnancy and the long-term commitment required for effective parenting. Many face the very real possibility of medical complications. Pregnancy occurs in the context of women and family circumstances that can be confounded by a range of challenges
This 90 minute presentation and discussion are intended to build understanding of reproductive healthcare decisions in the context of family welfare. It will honor different points of view while exploring family circumstances, pregnancy, and abortion care.
Saturday March 21st 3-4:30 in the Heritage Room at Parkway UCC.
