Meet at church at 9:45 or 10:15 at Herbaria Soap C, 2016 Marconi St. Louis, Mo 63110, to tour their charming process room and gift shop. Bubbles, their welcome dog, will greet us. Park anywhere on Marconi. We plan to visit St. Ambrose, 5130 Wilson Ave unless there is a funeral that morning. The beautiful fountain across the street is a lovely tribute to one of the famous families in the area. The statue in front of the church represents the Italian Immigrants who came to St. Louis to work for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and The Frisco Railroad. The statute spotlights a man with a suitcase and a woman holding a baby. Following the self-guided tour of St. Ambrose, we will walk across the street for lunch at Milos and maybe play a round of Bocce Ball. RSVP to Carol Cobb at ccjcobb@aol.com or 314 965-4147.
