The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is a federal agency that was established via the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to administer and enforce civil rights laws against workplace discrimination.The activity of this important federal agency involves itself in issues that impact most employers and employees.
Parkway church member and veteran lawyer, Grant Doty, worked for the EEOC for many years and will share his story of the work of the EEOC and provide a summary of what the law requires in order to demonstrate discrimination in the work force. An informed citizen of this nation should understand the work of the EEOC and the law of employment discrimination.
