TED: The Sword and the Shield

We will be wrapping up our discussion of the book The Sword and The Shield so please read to the end (page 318 ). This book is a dual biography of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. The author tells the story of each man’s identity and how their ideas shaped America and the struggle for racial equality. This provides us as readers with a deeper understanding of the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the foundation for Black Lives Matter.

We will start the Zoom session at 6:45 for time to visit and catch up with each other before we start the book discussion at 7 pm.
