Share God’s love and compassion with our community through our fifth annual JHLTB! Worship at PUCC at 10:00am, then live out our mission in a day of service. Wear your PUCC t-shirt or another red shirt if possible.

 

Eight rewarding projects are available; choose what most speaks to you:

 

  1. Emmaus Homes—indoor and/or outdoor projects depending on weather. UCC’s Emmaus Homes serves adults with developmental disabilities that live in homes in many neighborhoods all around the metro. emmaushomes.org
  2. Caroline Mission Early Childhood Education Center—painting, cleaning, yard work, sterilizing toys (please bring a sack lunch or snack so we can enjoy eating together while working on the project list) Caroline Mission is a part of our UCC’s Neighborhood Houses.   3. Sustainability Seekers—clean up trash around PUCC and plant flowers; indoor options available if raining. Join the Green Team for the day!
  4. Big Brothers/Big Sisters party—Big/Little pairs will come to PUCC for a party including games, activities, crafts, treats and more. Explore this important mission at bbbsemo.org
  5. Missouri Veterans’ Home—perform a variety show for veterans and guests during their lunch; support crew also welcome!This is a great way to love a local veteran — mvc.dps.mo.gov/homes/stlouis.php
  6. Sandwiches for St. Patrick’s Center—make sandwiches at PUCC to be shared with those served by St. Patrick’s downtown at 800 N. Tucker—stpatrickcenter.org
  7. PUCC Homebound—visit & share our love with PUCCers who are no longer able to come to church. We will bring the church to them!
  8. Cookie baking—It’s cookie time! Join us in thePUCC kitchen as we mix, bake, package, and deliver cookies to area law enforcement officers and fire fighters.

 

For the sake of planning, we ask that you PLEASE sign up for your favorite project in advance in the Gathering Space (beginning April 9), or contact Lisa Mason at lmason624@sbcglobal.net or (314) 395-4444. Each project has aspects that are suitable for all ages. These projects offer tangible ways to do God’s work in our community; don’t miss this fulfilling and fun day in the life of our church!
