Christian Services Commission
The Christian Services Commission (CSC) facilitates outreach in the Church by recommending annual budget amounts for Missions, choosing Second Mile Mission recipients and setting goals for the collections; recommending additional giving opportunities to the congregation, and disseminating topical information regarding Christian social concerns to the congregation.
We share our financial gifts with OCWM – Our Church’s Wider Mission; St Louis Association; Eden Seminary; Pastors’ Discretionary Fund; various 2nd Mile Giving, including Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter, Japan Earthquake, Spring Storms and Joplin; four other UCC offerings – Strengthen the Church, One Great Hour of Sharing,
Neighbors in Need and the Christmas Fund; and more!

Last but not least, we continued to provide care, love and support to our Burundi family which included donations of diapers, used children’s clothing, quarters for their laundry, computer tutoring, driving lessons, taking the children for their shots and doctor’s visits, and many more.
You opened your hearts and unselfishly supported all these causes on behalf of Parkway UCC. Though these words are not enough to express it, we sincerely thank you for all you have done!
