What if my child needs me or you need to contact me during the service?
Great question! One of our shepherds (each classroom has a teacher and a shepherd) will notify you of your child’s need or bring your child to you. We are very conscious of safety and security -something every parent can appreciate!

When does Pathways (9:30) and Stories and Songs (11:00) begin?
Sunday School for both services begins after the children’s message in worship.  We encourage all to gather together and be present with each other, before going to our classes and groups.  Activity Packets are available for your child to use while you are in service together. Our nursery, for those 3 years of age and younger, opens at 8:30 and is available during both services if you desire.  Your child can be picked up by you from class at the end of Sunday School.

What happens if our family is running late?
Occasionally families have a hard time getting out the door and sometimes traffic can be heavy. For that reason, you are welcome to join in Sunday School even if you arrive after the children have gone to their classes. We simply ask that you take your child to their classroom and that you register your child’s attendance with the teacher.  We do this to maintain safety and security policies.

I’m new and I have kids with me…what do I need to do?
A couple of things! One, your kids will love Pathways and Stories and Songs. And Two- you as a parent will appreciate our concern for the well being of your child.  After being greeted, you and the kids will be invited into worship with one of our members (if you desire).  When it is time for the children to exit to Sunday School, you are welcome (at anytime) to go to class and to see what is going on.   We want everyone to not only feel welcome but at home in this house of God.
